The Legend of the Abandoned Fireplaces..
The Legend of the Abandoned Fireplaces..
or how a find from an old warehouse met with Oyasumi waxes
While searching for unique additions to our Oyasumi candles and wax melts, we came across a man who had purchased an old, abandoned warehouse. Inside, we found dusty shelves, forgotten pallets, and anonymous boxes that had been unopened for years.
Among the worn-out boxes, we found something that immediately set our hearts racing: a batch of handmade ceramic SIRYKID scented burners – a German brand operating in the late 1980s and early 1990s, specializing in ceramic scented accessories. Rumor has it, however, that these burners, although German, were actually made here in Lower Silesia.
These were NEW pieces ( so-called New Old Stock) – fireplaces that never made it into homes, but instead waited in the silence of a warehouse for years for their second life.
Why are these aroma burners so special?
The original boxes didn't stand the test of time – all that remains are shreds of labels, fragments of markings, and torn cardboard . That's why every SIRYKID fragrance burner :
-
we gently cleaned it ,
-
we checked the condition of the ceramics,
-
We have repacked it in a solid, neutral packaging , ready for shipping and as a gift.
This isn't a mass-produced "straight from the factory" product. It's a limited batch of fireplaces with a history that have been hidden in a warehouse for decades, and now, together with Oyasumi fireplace waxes , can add magic to your evenings.

How to use an Oyasumi wax burner?
These burners work perfectly with our olive wax burners and classic fragrance oils.
Instructions for use:
-
Place a piece of Oyasumi fireplace wax into the fireplace bowl.
-
Place an unscented tealight inside the fireplace.
-
Light a candle and let the burner slowly release the fragrance – olive wax is great at carrying the aroma
-
Once you have finished burning, turn off the tealight and wait for the fireplace to cool down.
-
Never leave a flame unattended – it's still fire, even if the packaging is beautiful ceramic.
